April 1st, still waiting because (at least according to their email): "Furthermore, following recent clarification of the Nationality rules, greater levels of scrutiny will be applied to certain applications. This will be dependent on certain indicators within their immigration history that pre-date the application for naturalisation. Your case has been identified as such a case and it has not been possible to conclude it within six months."

That's the long process ended. From 29/04/2015 to 14/12/2015. Almost 8 Months.

Other Updates :
20-Oct-15: Letter received states,' HO has made errors giving mistakenly citizenship to people in Dec 14 and please note that should your application for brit citizenship be successful the certificate of brit citizenship which can upto another 6 months & do check the details as given on the attached pages', which is name and details.
This is so poses taking , WHAT IS THAT GOT TO WITH MY APPLICATION?
Am so drained out with this 'no service department' and left with no faith in them. am not what this means and this has come through MP's office as I stretched to them after 6 months
Please any expert who know how to tackle this situation & long this is going to take more

Called HO again today and got the same response, not decision has been made yet. I asked if my application has even been looked at and his reply was yes, that why it has reached to that stage ,and when i asked which stage.. he said we cannot disclose any information.

I have not clue what could be the outcome, starting thinking about worst cases..........

How do they tell you when you call HO? Coz whenever I call they take details for someone to give a callback within 3 days....Called them today again same thing they took detail for someone to call next week. Most probably few of us who are stuck now have their case with same lazy caseworker.

viki, yes, i call them around 11:00 PM today, they took my details and called me back around 1:00 PM. That is when they told me about my application.

I have also asked my MP to contact HO again to find out the situation.

ILR2014test : when did you applied?

Child application should not take more than 4.5 months. All my friends who applied for their children got approval around 3 to 4.5 months.

Khanjee applied on 27th April, reached homeoffice on 28th

Very odd or is it a coincidence...I also applied on 27/04 reached HO on 28/04....I am 100% sure our application is with same case worker who placed it in some cupboard and forgot it
