Hi, I recieved citizenship approval/ceremony invitation today on 7 nov.
From home office Atlas email with a reference number.
I contacted Westminster council for booking, they advised me to book online.
When I try online, it says records can not be retrieved.
Can someone please help!
Is there any specific way to book ceremony?
Does council send any invitation seperatly?
If it is too early to book, then how many days usualy it takes to update council records.

Give it a week or so.
Just because you got approval today doesn't mean the council received your certificate yet.
It has to be printed and sent out by UKVI and it can take a couple of weeks!!

I also received approval on 07 Nov 2022, but my council said they haven't received certificates yet and they are expecting next batch to arrive on Thursday so will wait for 1 week and then contact them again.

You will receive it separately once they have your paperwork.

No bro!
They say, we did not receive you certificate yet.
This the email from ATLAS saying,
“ Citizenship ceremony invitation
Application for British citizenship by [name and date of birth redacted]
I am pleased to tell you that your application for British citizenship has been approved.
To complete the process of becoming a British citizen, you will need to attend a citizenship ceremony. At the ceremony, you will take an oath or affirmation of allegiance to the Crown and a pledge of loyalty to the United Kingdom. This is a formal promise to His Majesty the King and the United Kingdom. Once you have taken the oath and given the pledge you will be presented with your certificate of British citizenship.”
It also says to contact your Registrar office.
But not yet

Sorry to hear you still waiting.
I think council take sometime to update their records so better contact them next week. It is frustrating but there is not much you can do unfortunately.

Hi, do we only get one certificate on the day of ceremony?
Is this one we have to send to passport office?
I read somewhere, “ certificates can only be sent to the address provides at the time of application”

You only get one certificate, at the ceremony. For the passport application you will need to include this. Only children normally receive their certificates by mail as they don’t have to attend a ceremony.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.

they're sent to minors who do not go to the ceremony afaik; for adults it's only given at the ceremony indeed (unless it's a replacement certificate, but that's another story)
Not a qualified immigration adviser. Use links and references given to gain confirmation and/or extra information.

Person has verify my identity
Home office asked me the documents to be sent.
Does this mean that identity checks completed, or they still be checking.
Thanks
