Thank you!

One more question, in the checklist it says the following;

most recent tax year account statement and corresponding HMRC tax return as proof of self-employment

It’s a new business and I don’t have tax return yet, it will be done next financial year, any suggestions please

If you have not submitted any tax return yet, explain that in the cover letter, provide the proof that you are registered as self employed and provide your UTR number.

Hello again and thanks for the help,

Can I book a family appointment with UKVCAS? Or will be done separately for each applicant, but I’m the main applicant and add dependents to the same application for naturalisation.

All applicants in the SAME account will book appointments at the same time. The system will only allow that. The price shown will be as per total applicants.

All,

About consent for a child for naturalisation,

1- I have add them as a dependents and the application has been submitted, but I haven’t got any consent from, just write it by myself, I reckon there’s official format.

2- which date a referee should put while signing the referee from, date of application submission or the day when he’s going to sign the letter?

3- I have uploaded the documents on UKVCAS, but my appointment is end of December, is that okay, or should I submit it after uploading the referee form?

4- Do we also need passport size photos. and how many for each applicant please?

5-Do I also need to upload the application from?

6- marriage certificate uploaded into my account, does it need to be uploaded in my wife account as well?

7- in our country the government is not adding mother name on national ID, only father name which is silly, will that be a problem?

Thanks for the usual support

No format, write it yourself simple 2 lines and both parents sign

2- which date a referee should put while signing the referee from, date of application submission or the day when he’s going to sign the letter?
Does not matter. Referee should put date when he/she signs

3- I have uploaded the documents on UKVCAS, but my appointment is end of December, is that okay, or should I submit it after uploading the referee form?
Yes. You have an option to self-submit

4- Do we also need passport size photos. and how many for each applicant please?
No. Only for referee forms though

5-Do I also need to upload the application from?
No

6- marriage certificate uploaded into my account, does it need to be uploaded in my wife account as well?
Marriage certificate usually would be generated due to the child in the same account. Just upload in your wife’s section also

7- in our country the government is not adding mother name on national ID, only father name which is silly, will that be a problem?
National ID is irrelevant

Nothing you need to do. If he is over 18 when approved, you will have to pay the £80 ceremony fee. Ukvi will advise you in writing. He will have to attend a ceremony, take the oath and get his cert.

Hello All,

I hope you’re all doing well.

I have received an email for my son as he turns 18, and asked to pay £80 by 07/05/2021 but the letter date is 17/05/2021. Will it be a problem?

I have replied that email and explain the date issue and meanwhile attached the payment slip, will it be okay or do I need to send the hard copy of the payment slip as well?

In the letter it says use the enclosed envelope, but it’s just an email and no envelope included, but which address should I send the payment slip with my bank details.

I have applied last December 2020, does this letter means I can expect a decision in the near future, it’s a silly question.

Thanks in advance

Hello All,

I’m applying for first British passport, it asked to provide my passport in which I enter UK, but normally HO retains your passport when someone apply for UK Travel Document

My national passport is with HO, any suggestions please

You will need to provide your Travel Document - best to attach an explanatory note about your original passport retained by HO.

Also add a note that you are returning your Home Office Travel Document (HOTD). HMPO will retain your HOTD and issue you with a British Passport. The HOTD will be sent for safe destruction.
