Naturalisation app taking over 6 months

Hi all

Applied for naturalisation 18 February. Since I hadn’t heard anything I decided to email them and I was told:
The simplicity or indeed complexity of an application cannot be known until it has been considered by a caseworker. Nevertheless, UKVI aims to complete 95% of cases within 6 months from the date of receipt. Therefore, it will take a while longer for your application to be considered. Once your application is decided, you will be contacted by your caseworker.

Yes, many. For example, a user posted this morning that he is waiting 2 years already and file only sent to caseworker following all the checks a couple of months ago.
