Emailed FNE 6 times between Jan & March, got no reply or standard response.

Had a non-custodial conviction record. Hopefully this reassures those with criminal records.

Eligibility Criteria: 10 yrs long residency (study and work routes)=> ILR for 14 months
Red flags: Nil major. I mentioned a couple of parking fines and bus lane violations in my application.

Date of receipt of approval (from council): 28-Mar-24
Home Office email is still pending.
Date of ceremony: 7-May-24; I will probably opt for a private ceremony.

Fortunately, a very reasonable time scale for me; around 2.5 months after submission of biometrics. I took the advice of some posts on this forum and emailed nationality enquiries on 18-Mar-24. Not sure whether this expedited matters but surely cannot hurt, especially if your application is straightforward!

Other Updates: sent an email to further nationalities for an update on 14/02/2023, received a reply on 14/03/2024 saying that its within service standard and they are unable to provide a progress update.
Sent another email on 25/03/2024 as lot of people applying after me had already had their approval, received a response on 26/03/2024 saying that my citizenship has been approved.

It took 7 month to the day from the actual application, I dont know why it took that long, but happy that it is finally over

I sent to FNE twice and got the standard auto reply saying nothing
I got MMST message on Feb 8th
I got FNE apology it is taking a long time, but no explanation
I wrote to my MP 4 times asking for help, response was very slow and not helpful
Finally today I got approval and invite to schedule ceremony.

My message, don't stress, it will happen eventually, and big thank you to this forum for keeping me sane.
