Hi all, I came to join my wife in the UK in September 2007 and received my permanent residence card in 2014. I recently applied for my naturalisation and declared two ccj on it. The Ho wrote me back wanting further information about the two ccjs declare. I managed to get further information on 1 ccj from Trust online.org.uk, however, regarding the other one which dates back to 2012, I could find anything. I went through the debt recovery company used and in my discussion with them they disclosed to me that it wasn't a ccj, but rather a fine for using the wrong ticket on the train. I was very naive in my assumptions. I've written back to the home office with every information I could get within the time limit I've been given. Although it would be classed as a non custodial sentence. The three period has over elapsed by .
My question are as follows
1) for the fact that I mistook the second ccj as a non custodial sentence would that be classed as dishonesty?
2)will this whole debacle affect my application?
3) What evidence do I need to support a non custodial sentence as I have non and who do I contact?
