Wrong title on Form mn1 online application.

Hi Guys,

This is my first post within the community. I have recently submitted my online application for citizenship. I am under 18. Once I completed and submitted my online application, I was going through the completed form and noticed that I put my mother's title as Mr. rather than Mrs. Would that cause any delay or any problem with my application?

I have got my Nationality Document Return appointment at the council next Tuesday to check my original documents and send supporting documents to HO. Would they be able to correct the mistake or Is there any need for it as my mother will be signing the consent form where I will need to put her title on the form ?

You cannot change online application once it is completed otherwise you complete a fresh application. In your case, I believe this is a minor detail and if it was me, I will just write HO and highlight the mistake and include reference no.

Simply write a brief covering note and submit with your application.

As you are under 18, presumably if you were born abroad, you hold ILR or PR and one of your parents is also applying or is already British???

Yes i was born outside the UK. Have been here now over 5 yrs and held ilr for about 18 months. My mum is british and father is settled with Ilr.
