Were they born before or after you became British? Are you listed on the birth certificates?

All passport applications are processed in the UK. Applying from abroad the process can take 6-12 months.

Also, if you are the father, are you married to the mother? Else, you may require DNA Testing to prove paternity.

Only the children born after the date on your naturalisation certificate are automatically British citizens by descent. They are eligible for a British passport straightaway.

If they were born before you became a British citizen, their status will be the same as the less-privileged parent. If the other parent has no status in the UK, neither do the children. The children will only qualify for British citizenship if the second parent naturalises before their 18th birthday.
