BRP Card return after application

If the BRP card needs to be submitted with a naturalisation application, do they return it to allow travel? If they do return it how long would it take?

Yes, it has to be submitted with your application. They hold onto your documents for the duration that it takes to process.

If you apply using NCS (nationality checking service), you will get to keep you original documents and they will send photocopies with your application.
