BRP RENEWAL

I was born in the UK however do not have a UK passport, I currently have a Nigerian passport with a brp card. I need to urgently fly abroad for work purposes next month 12.7.19 - my mother submitted both our brp with leave to remain (expired in March) for renewal in March and we only received correspondence in May in which we received the standard conventional reply of our case raising issues relating to European Convention.
Is there anything I can do to speed up the process ?
