BRP - residence entitled to schengen visa

Hi,

I am British and have applied for spouse visa for my wife from Pakistan. Can we go to a different country on the way to the UK during the vignette period like Turkey, UAE or any European country?

Does a UK BRP entitle her to visit European countries or does she have to apply for a schengen visa?

She is 20 and I am 24.

It only entitle her to enter and stay in UK. She will have to apply schengen visa if want to travel to schengen area.

Right okay thanks. For the first point I was asking if we can go on a honeymoon to Turkey or Dubai once visa has been accepted en-route to the UK?

Just trying to plan ahead.

Yes you can provided the none-EU/British national partner holding the valid visa for Dubai & Turkey.
