Can I apply for a Visit visa whilst waiting for my Spouse Visa

Hi there and apologies for my ignorance.
My visit visa expired yesterday, and I have a pending Spouse visa application on which I haven't heard anything yet. Is it possible to apply for a visit visa again whilst waiting for my spousal visa's result so I can be with my children?

No. You cannot have two application with ukvi. Submitting another category visa application will likely invalidate the spouse visa one and cause delays
