Applications for getting interviews in Canada

Does anyone have experience applying to jobs in Canada? How many applications do I need to send out before I stand a chance of getting an interview?

I suppose it would depend on your skills, qualifications and the demand for what you do. It also probably depends on the location you are looking at in Canada and whether a company is willing to sponsor you.

In any country, it can take 100s of applications but sometimes just a few.
