Claiming Existing Canadian Citizenship

Dear all,

I am trying to claim my Canadian citizenship (possibly already existing?) and I'm looking for people who have been through a similar process.

I was born in the UK in 1989, I hope only a UK passport. I have never been to Canada.

My mother was born in Canada (around 1965). Her mother and father were British. She left Canada as a child and did not claim Canadian citizenship until around 1975 (Importantly, it was claimed BEFORE I was born). My mother currently holds duel citizenship with the UK and Canada (but lives in UK). My father is fully British.

Am I entitled to Canadian citizenship?
