My Pakistani husband is here in the uk on a spouse visa. He has been offered a masters university course in Canada but I won’t be able to join him as I’m working.
I would like to know-
How will his uk spouse visa effect his student Canadian visa? I’ve heard Pakistani nationals are being refused Canadian student visas? Does having a UK spouse visa improve his chances of getting a Canadian student visa?
Also will him going to Canada negatively effect his UK spouse visa process, I'm hoping to get his citizenship in 5 years?

His UK visa is irrelevant to a Canadian immigration process.
He requires residence and evidence of it in the UK to apply for a UK spouse visa extension and for ilr after 5 years.
