Care worker visa documents

Hello everyone
I am asking this on behalf of a friend

He is applying from Pakistan,got a cos from employer today
Now he wants to know what other documents he needs to submit with his application apart from (Ielts, character certificate etc .
Further in his cos where it says “ tick to certify maintenance for migrant “ sponsor put Y .
Do my friend still need to show maintenance fund for 28 days??
And also does he need to submit previous job experience letter or related qualification diploma?

Please if you can share your knowledge it will be highly appreciated.

The ukvi website and online form tells you clearly what is required.

Not sure what you mean by "character certificate"???

If the CoS states Y for maintenance, then no he does not have to prove maintenance funds.

He does not need to prove previous job experience

I suggest 1. your friend reads the ukvi skilled worker website and 2. registers on the forum to ask his own questions.

I mean “criminal record certificate “ it’s called police character certificate in Pakistan.

One more question please
He hasn’t submitted the application yet
His cos assigned date is 3rd April 2023
But on cos work start date is 28 January 2023
Which has already passed
He asked the sponsor to change the date in future but his sponsor is insisting that it’s not an issue
So he is very worried because start date is already passed and he might get refused. And it may also affect his visa duration cause work end date is 27 January 2026.

So please if you are anyone else can advise in this regard
