1. I am in salaried employment earning less than £18,600 per year, however for the last four months I have been earning over £1,550 per month doing overtime. If this continues for another two months, would I be able to sponsor my spouse using this overtime income, or would I still need to be in a job which pays over £18,600 per year? So I could apply in my current job even though it pays less than £18,600 per year, but my last six pay slips have been £1,550 or more because of overtime, so I can apply in my current job?
2. We will likely go Category B if the overtime stops before I have acquired six payslips over the last six months. Am I right in thinking if I use 12 months worth of pay slips, then I must be in employment which pays £18,600 at time of application? Whereas I don't need to be if I go category A, provided my last six pay slips are at least £1,550 per month? So for example, I could provide 10 pay slips from my current job which pays less than £18,600 per year and 2 pay slips from my new job which pays over £18,600 per year?
Many thanks.
