Certificate of Sponsorship - Starting date

My Tier 2 visa expired on 19/8/2015. I am not doing job as the contract was even earlier than that. My visa was refused and got the refusal letter on 26/8/2015 (Tier 2 General- - change of employment)

I am asking my new sponsor to write the starting date as 15 September 2015. They are insisting on writing the start that of 1 October 2015 on the COS. Will that affect my visa application?

Can you ask your question in a bit more detail ? Was was your visa refused ?
Why are you insisting your employer to put 15th sept 2015, how will that help you in your application?
