Change in employer - what happens to old COS?

Post by aishusrinivasan » Mon Jun 12, 2023 10:37 am

Hi,
I am switching jobs and I have also received the new skilled worker visa for the new job. I am yet to inform my current employer that I am quitting, was about to inform this week. The new company applied for my visa in priority and it came within 1 day.
My question:
1. Would my current company know that the COS they issued has been cancelled and I have received my new skilled worker visa even before I inform them of my leaving?
Thank you

No the current employer won't know anything until you resign.

Ukvi does NOT inform employers if people apply for new visas
