Changing from Tier 2 to Family Visa (Civil Partner)

Post by SimH3ZA » Wed Oct 19, 2022 9:54 am

Is my employer is informed by the HO of my change in visa?

I am currently in the UK on a Tier 2 (General) visa and will be changing to a Family visa as my partner and I are now in a civil partnership but want to keep my cards close to my chest in terms of my employer knowing this in relation to Tier 2.

I have scoured the internet and cannot seem to find anything...

TIA

No, they are not informed by UKVI. It is your responsibility to inform your employer and provide evidence of your new visa once it is approved.
