Child Benefit Information

Hi ,

I Got My ILR on 2013 then received British Citizen on 2014 .but My dependents (spouse and 2 KIDS)are in Tier2 general dependent VISA as they are not eligible to apply ILR till sep 2018 (will be completed 5years that time).

1. am i eligible to apply for Child benefit for my 2 kids ( They are in Tier 2 general dependent VISA in UK since SEP 2013)

2. ME and MY spouse jointly Brought House using 'HELP to BUY' Scheme .is this come under claiming PUBLIC FUNDS as my spouse is not eligible to get PUBLIC FUND due to Tier 2 general dependent VISA.is this effect her ILR when she will apply on 2018?.

My spouse and 2 KIDS were renewed their Tier 2 general dependent VISA on Mar 2015 and received the visa Till Mar 2018.i have to do another renewal on 2018 before apply ILR on sep 2018 .

if i claim Child benefit then will it effect their VISA extension or ILR?..

If you claim child tax credits, this MUST be claimed in JOINT names with your wife. Child benefit in YOUR name only.
