Child British Citizenship Query

Hi,
Please could someone help me below ?

- On Oct-2016 Son was Born in UK and He got UK Birth certificate, Both parents was not settled when he was born. We applied Indian Passport for my son.
- On Feb-2017 Child went to India (For Holiday)
- On Feb-2018 Father got ILR through Tier 2 General 5 years route.
- On Mar-2019 We applied Child PBS Dependent Visa from India.
- On Apr-2019 Child Came to UK as PBS Child Dependent

Question is : I am looking to Apply British Citizenship for my Son now - Is he Eligible to get British Citizenship now considering he was born in UK. Please help?

Yes, a UK born child has an entitlement to register as British once either parent gets ILR.

Use form MN1 online.

I am also Applying British Citizenship right now - So I'll include Son details also in same Online Application form.

You could have applied for him in Feb 2018 as soon as you got ilr, even if the child was abroad.

Fine to include child with your application though.

Sorry I was thinking that the process would take more time. so didn't apply that time.
