Child British passport expiry validity left 5 month more and can I travel abroad?

We are planning to go abroad but child British passport expires in 5 months time from the day of travel day. So my queries are below

1) Can my child travel abroad and come back to the UK without any issues as his British passport validity left 5 months only. or any risk?
2) what would happen if we planned to go with this validity. Do they stop at British airports or abroad airports as well?
3) If I apply child British passport renewal NOW then how long it takes to come back to receive new passport?
4) Please send me the correct link now to apply Child British passport RENEWAL?
5) What documents do I require to apply this renewal?
6) any fast track to apply this?
7) what is the fees ?
Can we apply renewal before 7 months passport validity also now?

No issue in leaving the UK or returning to the UK. You would however need to check the rules on passport validity in the country you are visiting.

No issue in leaving the UK or returning to the UK. You would however need to check the rules on passport validity in the country you are visiting.

I heard from others that British passport validity must be 6 months or more for any travel abroad. We are planned to go to India anyway. So just wondering as you said that no issues while traveling and coming back here even if the British passport validity left 5 months ONLY.

This has nothing to do with leaving and entering the UK. You can enter the UK with even 2 weeks passport validity. The 6 month validity is more often about the country you are travelling to.
