Child dependent visa for Global talent visa holder category

Post by SudhakarGanta » Sun Dec 15, 2024 6:32 pm

HI
I am currently on Global talent visa in the UK.
I am applying for my child to join me. I have chosen Dependents of other work categories (staying for more than 6 months). I have paid the IHS fee. Now I realize I made a mistake in choosing the proper visa category. It is supposed to be PBS, Start-up, Innovator or Global Talent – Child visa.
I can not go back and edit the answers now.
Should I go ahead with my application or will it be a problem?

Please guide me on this issue.

Thank you.

Yes, it will be a problem. It will likely be refused as it is not the correct category. Different visas categories all have different immigration rules, and it is very important you apply for the correct category.

Has the child attended their biometric appointment yet?
Char (CR001 not Casa)

NO
After paying IHS, I realized the mistake. I haven't paid the Visa application fee yet. Hence, I am unable to withdraw or cancel the application.
Should I apply freshly, and pay the IHS fee again in that case?
