Is my child elgible for British citizenship?

Post by saibabam » Tue Sep 12, 2023 2:18 pm

Hi,
I am applying for UK Citizenship. I have question whether my son or daughter is eligible to apply UK citizenship or ILR?
Currently my wife and kids are holding 'PBS DEPENDENT LEAVE TO REMAIN' visa.
Both kids are born outside UK.
My wife and son are in UK from past 7year. They had to stay outside UK for 8months, now they are in UK continuously from past 4years.
My daughter is in UK continuously for past 4years.

Any of my child son or daughter is eligible to apply UK citizenship or ILR?

Thank you in advance.

Your children need ilr first and can apply for ilr when your spouse does.
Char (CR001 not Casa)

Common question. See this post.

In general, children born abroad follow the pathway of the second/less privileged parent.
