Child Registration as a British Citizen

Hi all,
My son is 14 years old and was born outside the UK . He just got his ILR last week as a dependant PBS. Myself and my wife are British Citizens since last year . My son has been in the UK for 6 years.
My question is : Does he need to wait for 12 month from Getting ILR to apply for registration as a British citizen or he can skip this and apply for registration straight away ??

There is no 12 month rule for children.

He can apply now.
