Children Registration

Hi there,

In the case where I hold British nationality, my wife has ILR in the UK, and our children who were not born in the UK, have completed five years in the UK as dependents on a Global Talent visa, are they eligible to register as British citizens without the need to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)?

Children born abroad need ILR. You should have included them in your wife's ILR application.

There is NO 5 year minimum residence for children to get ILR.
