Citizenship Application - documents

Hello all,
In the process of applying for my wife’s citizenship after just receiving her ILR. Applying straight away as I’m a British citizen.
I have some questions regarding the documents;

1) do you submit the mandatory documents via their online system like we did for the ILr?
2) my wife is unemployed, do I need to upload my finance, employment, accommodation doc spoke we did for the ILr?
3) do we send the documents anywhere or surrender the current passport?

1. Yes.

2. No. Employment is not a requirement for citizenship.

3. No, all uploaded digitally, same as for ILR
