Citizenship Application Timing

Post by AusUser6 » Sun Jan 11, 2015 3:43 am

Hi

I recently sent my documentation to become a British Citizenship, I'm Australian born to English mother before 1983

I'm trying to get a rough guide on the timing of my application and when my passport and other documentation will be returned to me.

I noticed my Credit Card has recently been debited with the ceremony fee. (what I expected) is this a fair indication that my application has been successfully processed and things are in motion? Or am I getting ahead of myself :)

Thanks in advance.

Am guessing you applied on UKM if you only paid the ceremony fee.

The fee is not an indication that it has even started being processed, it is only the first step.

A UKM application does not typically take very long if you have submitted all the documents required.
