Citizenship fee waiver for adults

Post by Ashkan » Mon Jan 09, 2023 11:30 am

Hi,

Is there fee waiver or a discounted rate for adults who can't afford the fee for UK Citizenship application? I am currently on universal credit.

Thanks

No there is not, neither a fee waiver or a discount rate. You need to pay the full fee if you want to apply for citizenship, plus the UKCVAS biometric appointment fee if no free appointments are available

Fee waivers are an option for applications made under the Immigration Rules.

Naturalisation is not an application made under the Immigration Rules, which ends at ILR.

It has its own rules and requirements, under different laws. And there is no fee waiver provision for naturalisation.
