Claiming Universal Credit & Child Benefit - ILR

Hi Moderators

This might have been asked a few times

1. I am on ILR from T1 Ent - Can I claim universal credit & child Benefit (Child is British passport holder)?

2. If so, will it have effect on my wifes application whose ILR (tier 1 dep currently) is due in Jan ?

3. If not, I saw the UC application requires to declare single or married (we are married) but do i have to declare single in order to not affect her future ILR application ?

3. You declare married as you are obviously married.

So, it will anyway have to be a joint application as UC application doesnt allow single application for married people ?

Joint yes but you will only get the single claim.
