Universal credit question

Hi guys,

I am on spouse visa and My earning is about 25000p/a. I would like to ask can my wife as a British citizen apply for universal credit and other benefits as my salary fulfills the threshold of 18600.
And if she applies, will it have any effect on my visa?

Universal credit is means-tested, do you have children, if so, how many and how old? Do you rent, if so how many bedrooms is it private or local housing association? Who is your local authority and how much is your rent? Do you have savings above £6000?
