Clarification regarding remote working and few other areas

Post by rsrameshsunil » Fri Jun 25, 2021 12:35 am

I'll soon be finishing 5 years on Tier 2 general eligible for ILR. I've got a couple of questions, if someone could help pls ?

1.Remote working from abroad- I went on a trip abroad in 2018 and worked remotely from outside the UK for a few days and took leaves for the rest of the time. So, the dates I'd applied for a leave won't entirely match the Dates on my passport stamps which show that I was outside UK. (Out of 1 month annual leave, I worked remotely from other country for 6 days). Will that cause a problem and do I need to get some letter for that ?

2. Date of entry clearance decision was 11th July 2016. Entered UK on 22th July 2016. My BRP is valid until 10th August 2021. Does the 28 days calculation count backwards from 10th August 2021 ? Or am I eligible to apply for the ILR even now ?

3. Is the employer stamp mandatory on employer letter confirming the need for the role for the foreseeable future. Is it ok if the confirmation is on official stationery letter head and signature of the HR that I could print it out, but without Employer stamp ?

Didn't you already receive ilr in 2019 or are you asking in behalf of someone else?
