Confusion Regarding how many days left from 180 days

Hi all senior members

I need quick clarification regarding my PBS tier 1E dependant absents from uk .

she took flight on 23 august 2018 and came back on 07 feb 2019.

23 august 2018 to 07 feb 2019

is the day when she leaves uk on 23 august 2018 counted and 07 feb 2019 towards absent?

Now we planning to go to on holidays to Europe , travelling date will be 15 April 2019 to 25 April 2019 .


23 august 2018 to 07 feb 2019 = 169 days including leaving date and return date


15 April 2019 to 25 April 2019 = 11 days including leaving date and returning date .


is my these calculations are right or wrong? please advise me on this ..... help will be much appreciated.

What date was her current visa issued?

Is this question just in general or specifically for ILR (you have not posted this in the ILR sub forum)??

For absence, you do NOT count the date of leaving and the date of arriving back. You only count WHOLE days out of the UK.

thank you cr001 for your reply .... this is general question not to exceed 180 days limit of my dependant

we together received an extension tier 1 Entrepreneur 0n 19 JULY 2018 to 19 JULY 2020.

She is subject to the dependent absence rules and if she has 180 days or more, her residence for ILR is broken and resets to zero.
