CoS and job advert

Post by alasa995 » Wed Nov 29, 2023 10:39 am

Hello,

I want to check what are the steps to follow for a sponsor to bring someone outside of the UK after getting the license, I know that the next step is to allocate and then assign a CoS to a worker but I have some doubts about that, should the employer advert the job on their website beforehand? is there anything the employer must do just before allocating and assigning the CoS? how to prove that the job is genuine? Won't be any issues with HO doubting that the employer is trying to hire a specific person?

**PS:** The employer already mentioned in his license letter that he needs a specific person with specific skills (company-related skills), the position is a software developer and it falls under the shortage job list (no market search needed).

1. Can you please stop starting multiple topics daily about this. You are literally just spamming the forum.

3. There is no requirment to advertise the job. Note that simply getting a cos does not guatantee visa approval.
