Hi,
My employer by mistake selected N to certify for the maintenance fund requirement which means I have to prove the maintenance fund, can I submit my dependent bank statement to cover the maintenance fund for both me and my child due to a shortage of funds in my account? We 3 will be applying together.
Thanks

You don't need a cover letter. Ukvi obviously know their own rules they have written.
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/financial-e ... to-provide
If you’re using your own money, or that of a parent or partner you’ll need to show you have the required amount of money in an account. You can provide:
bank statements
building society passbooks
certificates of deposit
a letter from your bank or building society
Your bank statement should show information like:
the date it was issued
your name (or the account holders name if it is your parent or partner)
the name of the bank or building society
balance on the account
You can provide a download of electronic bank statements if it has this information. You do not need to have these stamped by the bank.
We may do verification checks with your bank. If we’re unable to verify the funds your application may be refused.
Your bank must be regulated by the appropriate regulatory body for the country in which it is operating.

Hi,
My employer assigned a COS and wrongly mentioned the payment period as monthly but entered annual gross salary.
Please let me know whether the period can be correct from month to year.

Topics merged. Please keep ALL questions on the same application in ONE topic, this one.
Your sponsor can add a note on the SMS system briefly explaining the error. You cannot correct a CoS once it has been assigned.

Thanks CR001.
It seems when COS was initially requested they wrongly mentioned the frequency of payment as monthly by quoting annual salary. Now it was assigned to me. Could you let me know if the Home Office acknowledge the amendment request if the employer makes it via sponsor note? Thanks

No they don't. Adding a note is simply a note on the SMS system advising the UKVI caseworker of a correction statement.
You are overthinking. There is no issue if they do this, I have done this many times and had no issues with visas being granted.

Just received this in the sponsor note section. Hope this is sufficient.? Or is any detailed statement needed?
Please note that there is an error in the payment period. The gross salary of xxxxGBP mentioned in the CoS should be for each year and not for a month.

That is what a note is supposed to mean, it's sufficient.

Hi All,
Filling out the skilled worker application and there is a question about ATAS details. Should I select No?
"Do you need to obtain permission from the ATAS"
Is it required for a sponsor to add any note about ATAS is not required?
Thanks

For the question, do you have a national Identity card, shall I enter passport details or say No?

Say no to this. Your national identity card from your home country is irrelevant in the UK.

Thanks. I will be moving from the US, there is a question,
"How many times have you visited the following places in the past 10 years ?"
The US is also listed as one of the countries. As I am the resident shall I say 0 times or do I need to enter the number of entry/exit?

No, you reside in US, not a visitor so no going to provide such history for US.

Is a payslip mandatory to upload under employment evidence when uploading the scanned document on the VFS global site?
Thanks

Also, I have completed the application and am in the final stage of uploading the documents.
The cos has a complete maintenance fund as N, hence I have completed based on that to show funds from my spouse's account.
Can the employer add a sponsor note last minute to say maintenance will be covered by the company?
Would that cause any issue I submitted the application stating maintenance fund by the employer as No.
Thanks

Thank you. Regarding the sponsor note for the maintenance fund from No to Yes would that cause any issues?
