Current employment status in other country

Post by ankuraga » Mon May 24, 2021 9:34 am

Hi,

Does an individual's current employment status considered in his home country(Out of UK), while a company raises a COS and the individual applies for Skilled worker visa?

Example-
An individual is working in company 'X' in India.
A company in the UK- 'Y' ( which also has office in India) , raises a COS for the individual.

Will the individual be able to apply skilled worker visa, as he is working in a different company in his home country?

Your employed in your home country is irrelevant to a skilled worker visa.

Questions regarding spouse visa of an individual who is seeking skilled worker visa

1. Can spouse work in the UK on dependent/spouse visa?

2. Is Indian marriage certificate valid to apply dependent visa for spouse? Does UK government recognize it?

3. Apart from passport and marriage certificate, what other documents are required for spouse visa?

Post by ankuraga » Mon May 24, 2021 9:28 pm

Hi,

Two questions-

1. I have been in UK during 2016-17, on ICT tier-1 visa, do I still need to submit proof of ‘Knowledge of English’

2. The Indian Bachelor of Technology 4 years degree is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in the UK?
