Need some advise please. I am an Indian National living in UK and have UK residence permit (spouse visa). I am planning to travel to Cyprus for vacation with my spouse who is a UK National.
I am not sure if I require Cyprus tourist visa or not? I seen the text below on Cyprus high commission website however not sure if it is applicable to UK visa holders as well, or does EEA visa not cover it?
"Spouses of EU/EEA/CH nationals who are holders of the relevant “RESIDENCE DOCUMENTATION-Residence Card of a Family Member of an EEA National (see specimen below) do not need a visa to enter Cyprus, provided that they are travelling with the European Citizen or they are going to join him/her. They should also carry with them their marriage certificate. This directive applies only to married couples.
This “RESIDENCE DOCUMENTATION” must be valid for at least three months at the time of departure from Cyprus.
Please note:
Holders of any other kind of residence permit will still need to apply for a visa in order to enter Cyprus"
How would you interpret above? I have tried emailing and calling high commission but no response
