Date of ILR for 2019

Post by Samira 201 » Thu Nov 29, 2018 6:46 pm

Dear Sir
am a Tier-2 General visa holder and will be completing my 5 years in 2019
I want to apply for ILR, but have a confusion regarding the date from which I am eligible to apply for the same. My first Tier-2 general visa issue date is 18 Feb 2014 and UK Entry date is 11 March 2014

Could you please let me know if I can apply 18 Feb 2014 minus 28 days or should I wait for 28 days from UK entry/arrival date? How shall I count my dates

Many Thanks
Samira

You start counting from visa issue date.

Hi Samira,

you can apply 28 days before finishing for your visa (if you have completed your 5 years on ilr) but i would suggest you few things.
UKVI is strict now a days for those who applying from tier 2 to ILR.
you make sure your salary should be as per the requirement and on top of that any major increment should be mentioned on SMS by your employer. be ready at the time of your application they reason of the increment. also they are holding most of the files and doing compliance visit which is unannounced. they may suspend and revoke and then cancel your ILR application.

i had application on same day on 30th Oct and on hold, trust me they came to visit my company is 15 days. normally they come 2 to 3 months.

please be ready and well prepared before you apply your ILR.

All the best

Ali

There is no longer a same day service, ithr old system closed today.

You will have to apply using the new service, see links below.

How many hours a week do you work locum shifts?

Are you paid through PAYE and a separate payslip through the locum Bank system?

You can only use the salary from your main tier 2 job, you can't use second job or supplementary job salary to meet the requirement.

Hi Guys
Many thanks for your prompt replies
Please can I share my pay slip with you to understand a bit better
It says
Wage 57453.00
Basic pay 4787.75
Additional Prog A NP 1436.33
PAYE 1750
Extra Duty claim 1225.00
Total Net pay 4976
So does it qua;ify for a Tier 2 salary standards
The locum work fluctuates and if it exceeds 20 hours per week due to pressures
and I have to do what supporting statement can I ask my employer to write???
Can you suggest is this ok to proceed with the application of ILR
