Date on the decision letter

Good morning everyone,
I just want to know if the date that you received the decision email will be the same date for issuing date on the BRP. I received the email for my ilr application on 27th of August. I wanted to apply for student finance since I am going to university in September. Should I put 27th for issued date or wait for my BRP to arrive. Thanks for all your help

The dates of the BRP and the decision letter can and will likely vary. For instance, if the BRP is replaced, due to loss or theft, the new BRP will have a brand new issue date with no reference to the date of decision.

Similarly, the new BRP issued to you after you acquired ILR will have the date the card was issued, not the date on the letter.
