28-day Rule for Financial Documents

We submitted my partner's application yesterday, 11-Jun.

Prior to submitting the application we made sure we had all our documents scanned and ready to upload, including employer letter, May payslip and bank statement to the end of May.

The first available appointment with UKVCAS is 01-Jul, by which time the May payslip and bank statement will be more than 28 days old.

Is the 28 days calculated from the date the application was submitted or the date of the UKVCAS appointment?

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online. That is the date relevant to supporting documents.
