28 days rule

Post by Siofir » Wed Jul 22, 2020 6:40 pm

I'm quite confused about which documents need to be no more than 28 days old.

My bank statements are generally posted to me generally around the 28th of each month, and cover the previous month from 23rd - 23rd of the previous and this month.

I am paid on the last day of each month (30th/31st). So essentially my bank statements cover the tail end of the previous month, which is when I get paid.

I'm wondering therefore if it's ever possible for my payslips and my bank account to match up, in order to apply for a visa, staying within the 28-day rule!?

My husband's current visa ends in the middle of next month and we were planning on applying for visa extension on Monday 27th July - however I may not have the latest bank statement which includes June's payslip. What can be done about this?

Any reason why you cannot go to the bank and get up to date statements printed?

I always just tell friends to go to the bank and get the updated transactions and have them stamp it. Never been a problem.
