Query on selection of ILR application form for skilled worker dependent

Post by Karth » Fri Jan 26, 2024 9:14 am

Hi.

I have a question regarding which ILR application form to select and full for dependents.

I got my ILR early this month January 2024 through skilled worker 5 year route.

I’m now applying ILR for my wife and child. My wine and child on dependent visa staying with me in the U.K. for last five year. We came together.

I’m confused with ILR application form to fill. Whether it’s SET(O) or SET(M)??

Could anyone please advise me which one to select?

Thanks

I’m confused with SET(M) also saying partner of who settled in the UK.

It doesn’t mean to be SET(M)?

I should use SET(O) form for my case??

Dependant ILR application query

Post by Karth » Fri Jan 26, 2024 11:20 am

Hi

I obtained ILR in January 2024 through Skilled worker 5 year route. Now I’m applying ILR for my dependant spouse and child. We came together to UK and my dependant and child completed 5 year now.

I have a question with regards to Dependant ILR online application form question.

1. I understood, I should use SET(O) online application form for my dependant spouse and child – is it correct?

2. There is a question in the SET(O) dependent ILR online application form.

Select a category in which you are applying for indefinite leave to remain.
- I selected “Skilled Worker, Tier 2 or International Sportsperson dependant” - – Is it correct?

3. After this in the next page, a question

“Which visa is Mrs xxxxxxxx applying for or been granted?
Choose the route that Mrs xxxxxxx has applied for or been granted, even if their application is still being processed.
for selecting answer - It is displaying in the drop down following to select one of this
Tire 2(General) Visa
Skilled worker visa
International Sportsperson visa
Tier 2(minister of Religion) Visa
Etc

But it was not showing anything skilled worker dependent, confused now. Should I select just skilled worker?

4. This is another question and confusing why it is asking COS number for dependant.

Sponsor licence number
If they have one, what is Mrx.xxxxxx sponsor licence number?

You can find this information on Mrx.xxxxxx Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) or Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) statement. If you are able to provide this number, it will help us to link your applications together. If xxxxxx does not have one or you do not know it, you can continue without entering a number.

here can I leave blank and move to next page??

Please advice on the above. It would be much helpful.

Thanks

SET(O) is correct and they are viewed as 'Skilled Worker, Tier 2 or International Sportsperson dependant' routes.
Those other questions are asking YOUR old status and details, not of your dependant. Enter YOUR old details as their application is based on your previous status as a worker

Dependant ILR consent form doubt

Post by Karth » Sun Jan 28, 2024 11:40 am

Hi,

I’m a ILR holder. I’m applying ILR for my dependant wife and child. It’s SET(O) skilled worker dependant form.

When I’m submitting dependant ILR application for my wife and child. It is asking the below two consent form. I’m confused with this.

1)Consent form for the Home Office to request verification checks on 'my name’

2)Declaration signed by 'my name' to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks

I feel usually it should be the main application name in the consent form for verification and I should sign for the part 2 when Joint account

So which means my wife sign the part 1 and I sign part 2 of the consent form is enough? Or I also should sign part 1 form?

Thank you

Both refer to parts one and two of the consent form. There is only one form, the applicant signs part 1 and their partner signs part 2
