Dependant VISA - Marrying a widow VISA with Child

Post by jaishah11 » Tue Apr 21, 2015 8:38 pm

Hi,

I am divorced single working in London under Tier 2 General VISA. I want to marry an Indian widower who has a 10 months old son.
Can you please advice how can I apply a dependant VISA for them after marriage? Do I need to adopt the child officially or can he come as dependant of my new wife?

Regards,
Jai

If your future wife has sole responsibility (which she would have if the childs father has passed away), then they can both apply for Tier 2 dependent visas. There is no need to adopt the child.
