Dependent visa extension for wife and children

I have query about visa application for my wife and sons. I am british citizen so do I need to do application for dependants via Family Visa or Skilled worker visa dependant. Currently they have BRP on skilled worker dependant Leave to Remain. If we will have to apply skilled worker visa dependant then I will not have any COS document for this application. Would you guide on this please.

2. They apply for a Skilled Worker dependent visa extension. It will be a 3 year extension. You use the last cos details you had before ilr in rhe form.
