Dependent visa extension

Post by raja_nv » Thu Oct 06, 2022 3:12 pm

Hi Team,

First of all, massive thanks for running this amazing platform, it's helping a lot of people.

I've got the following queries with regards to my wife's dependent visa.

I recently got my ILR through 5 year route being in Tier 2 general. My Wife is still in Tier 2 dependent and her visa expires by Nov 1st. She completed 2 years 10 months in the same visa. Now that i want to extend her visa, am not clear on few things.

1)Should I be applying for skilled worker dependent visa or family visa?
2)What would be the application form name/application url that I should be submitting for skilled worker dependent visa?
3)For skilled worker dependent visa I see gov.uk website is suggesting to submit application though UK "Immigration: ID Check" app. Is this a recommended route for submitting application? Can I get priority processing option if I submit through this route?

Appreciate your response to the above queries. Thanks!

Do NOT tag your questions onto other members topics. It is unfair to members if you hijack their topics to post your own questions.

Skilled Worker Dependent visa extnsion.
2)What would be the application form name/application url that I should be submitting for skilled worker dependent visa?
https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/ ... d-children

The IDV app has nothing to do with priority service. IDV app is purely for biometrics and document upload.

Hi Team,

A follow up query on dependent visa submission. Once the application is submitted, as part of the evidence upload it's just asking for "Partner relationship details evidence" and nothing else. So i don't have to submit bank statment, partner payslip, partner brp, etc.?

As it stats once the documents are confirmed and uploaded nothing further can be done. If somebody can confirm it nothing else needed to be uploaded that will be really helpful. thanks!

There is no financial requirement for a PBS dependent extension.

You need 2 years evidence of cohabitation in both your names as proof of subsisting relationship.
