I have recently applied for ILR under SET(M) through my British wife. Today I got an email with the following text:

This message is to confirm that your application for indefinite leave to remain has now been decided and the decision is attached to this email.

When I open the attached .pdf file titled “Decision Letter”, I do not see an actual decision in the text, it starts with the usual BRP text straight away:

Dear Mr. ******,

A Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) will be sent to you under separate cover. You should receive your permit(s) within 7 working days [...]

Does this mean my application has been successful? In my FLR decision letters I always had a paragraph preceding this text that would actually confirm that the application was successful.. It appears you have had a successful one, update the thread when you got all in hand.

Thank you all. For what it is worth, I managed to find a sample of ILR decision letter online which matched what I have received (i.e. only mention of BRP being dispatched rather than explicitly saying that the application was successful).
