Dear Noajthan,

I hope you are well, do you remember the below conversation around the end of June, about "McCarthy transitional arrangement" as I and my wife were unmarried partners when that Oct 2011 RC was obtained, and she became British Jan 2016, however we are now married since March 2016. I'm also about to apply for PR as non-eea in October 2016

The only reason I am asking again about this it's just because when I have read about the above post when you have mentioned "Not sure if it applies to unmarried partners (it may do)", so my question now is does that affect me as me and my wife were unmarried partners and when even my RC was obtained on the basis of us being unmarried partners?

NON EU (My partner has RC in 2008 and 2013). I had employment break in 2009 that is why he couldn't get PR in 2013. He has his RC valid till 2018.
I have a question, I submitted employment proof from 2010 till 2016. I was working part time 2010 till 2012. With annual income about 4K. But since 2012 until now full time. My partner non EU was in full time employment since 2006.
That part time employment can affect and delay in decision? We are really confused, and worried. Its about 160 days....

So long story short - came to UK in 2009 with yellow card , in March 2011 received blue registration certificate which enables me in 5 years to apply for naturalisation. However the new requirement caught me and here I am applying for PR. In 2009 I work & lived in staff accommodation. The same place went on administration in 2012. We were not paid for 3 months , so I was forced to find another job. I did not receive a p60 for this year. Meanwhile I was living with my sister and her husband and did not exist on any tenancy agreement and etc. I changed a few jobs until I settled down in February 2013 in my current job. And live in accommodation again. I did not have any of my previous contracts so the only proof I got were my payslips..... As I said complicated!

Does anyone know if I did not sent enough documents and they refused what is the next step? Is there a next step or their decision is final?

Reason: Invalid EEA ID (Passport expired)

That answers it, once and for all. It doesn't matter if you lived legally in the UK as an EEA national excercising treaty rights for 5 years or more. Your ID must be valid when you apply.

If you are fortunate enough to have a British spouse its 6(2).
If not its 6(1).
