Just saying I finally got my RC!!! Just got informed by my immigration lawyer. the RC is dated 17th September, that's exactly 5 months from the date of my COA.

A few details about my case. My husband (Italian) was a student when we applied, he had comprehensive sickness insurance. I'm Australian. We married in January so it was pretty recent but we didn't get any phone calls / home visits, nothing. We sent something like 85 documents... photos, communication, joint bank accounts, tenancy, bills, etc... lots of travelling together and holidays and letters of endorsements from friends.

I applied through an immigration advisor just to make sure we did a thorough job, and he sure did! Wrote a 25 page cover letter explaining our story and linking all supporting documents. Well worth it! I also asked my passport back 2 months ago so I could travel.

Hoping the rest of the April crew get theirs and good luck to everyone else with RC's pending!

i am EU unmarried partner with more than 3 years cohibitation. this is my second application for residence card.
my time line as under.
EEA2 sent on 01.07.15
COA recd on 14.07.15
Biometric on 26.07.15
Rc ...... Waiting

i have a few questions.
i applied before in august 2014 but they refused with some silly points that i have not mentioned my partner employer BT line contact number in form. and also they said you have not live together exactly 2 years. but in fact we start living together since june 2012 and we send first application on august 2014 which is 2 years and 2 months with joint bills and joint bank statements and tenancy agreements photos friends letter and many more correspondence on our name.
now i applied again in July 2015 and waiting for the RC.

Question 1:
will i get right of appeal if they refused my application ? Last time they gave me right of appeal but i didnt go court coz i requested paper decision.

Question 2:
anybody have experience called for interview ,home visit or call from home office?

Question 3:
Anybody got right to work with EEA2 EFM unmarried Application.

Question 4:
how long is the procession time now aday for the EEA2 RC.

CoA received: 08/05/2015 with right to work
Residence card letter received: 23/09/2015 dated ( 20 september 2015)
Residence card received: 24/09/2015

Visa national married to EU national for 3.5 years

Just an update on my status. We applied for the EEA permits (I am the family member of a German national) in July. I submitted my biometrics on August 3. I received yet another letter with a new case number September 4, requesting my biometrics once again. After a couple of aggravating weeks, unanswered emails and multiple calls to the useless help line, I finally got through to these people. It appears they accidentally input my application incorrectly. They deleted my application along with my biometrics. They didn't bother to tell me, but just requested new biometrics.

I finally had someone respond to me and actually cleared up the matter. I now have my COA with right to work. My employer had to suspend my employment until this was taken care of. The right to work check couldn't find me in the system.

The home office have been very apologetic and seem to have rectified the situation.

Just hope the right to work check is all ok with my employer so I can get back to work!

The funny part is that I really am ok with waiting for my RC card. The one thing I needed was the COA which ended up causing a lot of havoc with my employer. Oh well, I guess this means I'll receive my RC card before everyone else in my batch?

Hi guys,

I submitted my EEA2 application (Ukrainian husband, wife is Romanian) which was delivered on 4 Aug 2015. Submitted my biometric information on 18 Aug 2015. Still waiting for CoA... I tried their useless helpline where the operator defaulted to asking me to write an email to NWEUROCOA********@homeoffice.**********.

I sent two emails to those guys already -- no reply. Any advice on what to do next? It strikes me that such a simple thing as issuing the CoA takes so long... And as you all well know w/t CoA I can't get paid. Soo frustrating.

first of all congratulation to you and other all who got rc and good luck to those who are still waiting.
Because the people who applied before 6/4/15 are getting rc on their passport,and the people who applied from 6/4/15 they are getting rc like a card.

This is how BRP looks like. Nice card. I can use it like an ID in the bank and so on.

Will it make my application strong if we send her's job offer letter to Home office.

Thanks for sharing about your recent travel. Glad to know its not a big issue to re-enter with the COA and other supporting docs as I've read that the HO usually advises to obtain another Family permit to re-enter.

I just returned to the UK with my partner yesterday. I went to the All Passports line together with my partner (Spanish national). I handed over both our passports, my entry card completed except for the length of stay and told the immigration officer that I have some other documentation as I am awaiting my EEA (EFM) Residence Card. I recently renewed my passport so he asked for my old passport and I gave him the certificate of application as well. He then spent some time writing on the back of my entry card then stamped my passport to allow me to stay for 6 months (while the application is being processed). All very simple!
