Re: EUSS for extended family

Post by Sous49 » Thu Oct 28, 2021 9:30 pm

dear all

hope you all are OK
I need an advice please
My sister and brother in law ( Italians settled in the UK) applied to sponsor my mum of 77 years old after we lost my father this summer, as she is now alone with neither of her children with her , application was fully submitted on the 20th of September 2021 outside the UK
My sister MP kindly contacted the Home Office inquiring about the application and raising the urgency of the matter as is Mum is old, alone and medically not well ( medical report submitted with the other evidence ) . Home Office advised that sponsors can expedite the application for compassionate reasons with evidence such as medical reasons . My question is can you please advise what email can be used to contact Home Office to request that ? taking into account that application is made outside the UK

many thanks in anticipation

If the sister’s MP is already involved, then it may be easier to contact the Home Office via the MP? They have their own contacts with the Home Office.

Thank you Vinny . HO in their email told the MP that the request should come from the applicant / her sponsor

If they didn’t give you any means of contacting them, then ask the MP to pass on your request?

There are still confusions on this matter , they may ask for fresh evidence

Happy to see you back. I thought you have got the visa and therefore left us here alone.

No they are not asking for any additional evidence. I know a guy (Extended FM) who have received a call letter. In that call letter they asked him to submit his passport along with a TB certificate.

He won his appeal in July and received the call letter in October from HO.

Have you received a call letter from HO?

In the latest Agreement, it is stated that:
Subject to the guidance in this section, we are
obliged to issue a product to all those whose EEA family permit application was
successful, including on appeal, even though the route closed on 30 June 2021.

Hello everyone,
Yes he did contact his mp and the mp contacted them in duration about three months after his appeal decision. He also made complaints about his implementation process. He was called by the resolution team and also received an email. Hopefully, everyone waiting will be sorted. Best of luck

According to to website, mentioned above:

"Dependent FMs are not eligible for pre-settlement."

So, what will happen next?

Waiting since October 2019 and still have to wait. Lawyer says it could take months before they email us to submit.

Please contact your mp and let him or her knows your issue. And I believe that will speed up things. Or you can also complain to the home office.

Anyone in this thread got a response from HOME OFFICE ?
I was told it is impossible to contact them using the paid phone service and response from paid email service is generic and they can not tell you whether the decision has been made earlier or after the publication of new caseworker guidance (02/11/2021)?
Any suggestions / inputs ?

Thanks
